The adventure park in Pehchevo will change forever the idea of spending and experiencing a mountain adventure in Macedonia. This newly-constructed park is a place with a broad specter od adventure elements, and one of them is the first zip-line in the country, 240 metres long, as well as the adrenaline trail long 360 metres.
The zip-line is consisted of two platforms connected between themselves with a galvanized steel rope. The line is designed, so it can enable its users free movement with the help of the gravity, throughout many obstacles from the top to the bottom, while at the same time, the users use safety belts. The zip-lines can be found in many forms, however they are mostly used as an entertainment and part of the category of adrenaline/extreme sports. In the history, the zip-lines were used also as a mean of transportation and access to the remote areas, such as the rainforests and the jungles of Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
In Pehchevo, the zip-line and the adrenaline trail are a rope structure, which hangs from one end of the trail to the other end, between the tall trees in the dense forest, fixed to support facilities, sometimes even for the rocks or the relief elevations. As obstacles in the construction of the zip line and the adrenaline trail are situated zic-zac stairs, barrels, spikes and nogs, pillars, swings and timbers, simulated tires, nets, bridges. In the park, there are instructors on disposal, who provide training and help in overcoming the obstacles and safe grounding for all the visitors.
For all adventure lovers, the park offers fun adrenaline challenge through the exciting sailing throughout the mountain air, between the high trees of the incredible pinewood forest and above the small swamp lake under the line. All this on 4 to 6 metres height from the ground for a completely new and incredible experience.
The park is an investment of the Municipality of Pehchevo, while the zip-line is supported by Hotel Gogov, the newly opened hotel in the town, which offers rest and relaxation for all the tourists wishing to experience the mountain tourism and be part of this adrenaline adventure.
